Tax Senior Manager

Asma Aslam is a Senior Manager in Frazier & Deeter UK’s Tax Practice. Asma is responsible for tax compliance and advisory services to corporations of all sizes, varying from large to smaller companies. She is a specialist in the UK R&D (Research & Development) tax relief and handling related HMRC enquiries, working with various industry groups, specifically pharmaceutical and life sciences.

After completing her degree in Biomedical Immunology, Asma served as a research biomedical scientist and completed two PhD projects in Ophthalmology and Neurology, which lasted nearly a decade. She then pursued a career as an R&D tax relief consultant for pharmaceutical companies where she could transfer the applicable skills and knowledge she gained throughout her research career.

Prior to joining FD UK, Asma worked at Ayming as an R&D tax relief consultant and at Grant Thornton as an R&D tax manager.
